
Recently, Eddie Griffin confirmed one of his next projects is the sequel to his movie Undercover Brother. Filming will begin in July.
The original Undercover Brother was released in 2002 starring the comedian and directed by Malcolm D. Lee (cousin of Spike Lee). It spoofs blaxploitation films of the 1970s as well as a number of other films, most notably the James Bond franchise.
In 2002 the film opened to reviews of the film that were generally favorable, with 76% of reviews being "fresh" according to internet rating site Rotten Tomatoes.
According to Griffin also on the horizon is another film and a reality TV show on VH1.
